Promotional film for Aura Candle Bar, a luxury candle-making experience in Lakeview. A cinematic piece capturing the artistry, atmosphere, and sensory journey of crafting a custom fragrance.
Aura is a hands-on luxury experience, so the film had to feel like one. Soft light, close textures, and slow movement carry the viewer through the space, from the glow of the pour bar to the finished candle.

Scope

Pre-production
Direction started in a sit-down with the owners, mapping the guest journey from scent selection to the finished pour. The storyboard was built around that flow, with a lighting plan designed for glass, wax, and reflective surfaces: natural light as the base, soft controlled key only where the glow needed help.

Production
Filmed on site in Lakeview with a minimal footprint so the bar could keep operating. Close textures, slow movement, and warm light carry the piece: the pour bar, the fragrance wall, hands at work, and the candlelit atmosphere the brand is built on.

Creation & Deliverables
A cinematic brand film for the website launch, with vertical cuts prepared for Reels and TikTok. The owners' feedback made it into the portfolio reviews section on this site.
